Skin care love #1

Taking care of my skin is one of my biggest priorities in life. YES! It just find it to be so crucial and I just don't understand how some people don't even have a face cleanser...or a moisturizer. A good looking, healthy-looking skin is the key to a successful makeup. I use tons of product for my face but here are three that I have been obsessed with at the moment.

Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser : A really good daily cleanser, that foams well and let you with that clean finish. I particularly love the smell of this cleanser (passionfruit + green tea) Usually I stick to one cleanser, one brand, but for once I'm happy I changed. I think it's good to alternate cleanser when you can so you skin to get too used to it.

Bio Oil: The Oh-so famous oil is now part of my daily routine. I apply it religiously every morning and every night. This oil has many purposes, I personally was hoping it would rehydrate my skin and also reduce the size of my acne scars. Well, it did! You are supposed to use this 3 months to see result but only after a good month of utilization I can definitely see improvements on my skin. My acne scars are reduced and I feel less moisture-less than I was before. You can see after a month of daily use, I still have more than 3/4 of oil less. So worth it!

Bioderma Sébium H20: I was using the pink version of this for a very long time until I tried the blue one. First of all, the blue has, in my personal opinion, a wonderful low-key smell. It removes the makeup, or refresh the skin in the morning like no others. I do like it better than the pink Bioderma just because it feels much more refreshing to use and a bit more purifying than the other one which is for super sensitive skin. I am obsessed with the Sébium H20, I use it every day to clear up my skin and it works really well!

Prendre soin de ma peau est devenu au fil du temps un geste incontournable au quoditien. ET OUI. Rien de tel qu'une beau bien hydratée, nettoyée en profondeur pour retrouver un teint éclatant et un peau plus lisse, plus belle. Me nettoyer le visage en rentrant le soir, c'est mon petit moment "spa" à moi. Je nettoie, je purifie, je désincruste, j'hydrate, je me fais un petit masque etc etc.  C'est tellement agréable de se chouchouter, pourquoi s'en priver? D'autant plus qu'une belle peau est le secret de base pour un maquillage réussi! J'utilise un tas de produits mais dernièrement, il y en trois que j'utilise bien plus fréquemment que les autres, les voici : 

Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser : Un gel nettoyant qui s'utilise facilement au quotidien car il est assez doux et n'assèche pas la peau. Ce que j'adore dans ce produit c'est son odeur de thé vert mélangé avec le fruit de la passion. D'habitude je reste à un nettoyant pour la peau pendant des mois, voir des années mais dernièrement je me suis mise à alterner plusieurs produits ce qui au final est encore mieux pour ma peau car elle n'a pas le temps de s'habituer à une composition bien précise. 

Bio Oil : La fameuse Bio Oil fait désormais partie de ma routine hydratation de la peau. Je l'applique religieusement soir et matin sur tout le visage (je peux me le permettre car j'ai une peau très sèche, peaux normales à grasses s'abstenir!) afin de réhydrater ma peau en profondeur et d'atténuer les cicatrices d'acné. Cela fait un bon mois que je l'utilise et jusqu'a présent c'est un sans faute pour la Bio Oil.  J'ai remarqué un changement de l'aspect de ma peau, les cicatrices sont moins visibles et ma peau à l'air plus souple avec un aspect plus "rebondi". Attention, si vous l'appliquez le matin, laissez-lui le temps de pénétrer dans la peau avant d'appliquer votre maquillage. A part ça, j'adore ce produit et je re-signe pour les deux prochains mois. 

Bioderma Sébium H20: J'utilisais la version rose de ce produit, pour les peaux sensibles et j'en étais largement satisfaite. Ca c'était avant de découvrir sa version bleue! Le Sébium H20 est fait pour les peaux mixtes (moi!) à grasses. Contrairement à son cousin rose, il n'est pas inodore. L'odeur est très légère est vraiment rafraîchissante. C'est un véritable plaisir d'utiliser ce produit autant le matin pour réveiller sa peau en douceur, que le soir pour l'apaiser des agressions de la journée. Je trouve qu'il à un côté plus purifiant et plus "nettoyant" que son homologue rose. Je suis convaincue que cette version est plus adaptée à ma peau, j'en suis complètement folle!

My life this week 

♥I have finished my two long ass weeks of exams and I am SO HAPPY with it. It was so hard to keep up and study every day, I had so much stress and so little sleep I need a serious pampering session to recover from those two weeks.

♥It has been snowing like mad and the snow ain't going nowhere apparently! 

♥I have found the perfect make up storage and I'll post about it soon

♥I went to the french border with my boyfriend to do some french shopping (back 2 mac and french skincare but also some basics like zara etc.) and we ate at Pizza Pai which is the equivalent of the belgian Pizza Hut basically. Delish!

♥French skincare heaveeeeeen! I love that in France every skin care product is WAY much cheaper than in Belgium so I love to go there and stock up on my favourite things :)

♥One of the new product I have bought is the Bioderma Sébium washing gel, I can't wait to try it!

♥New YSL Rouge Volupté lippie :) Gorgeousness alert

♥I am obsessing with the song "Gone with the wind fabulous" from Kenya Moore #RHOA

This is my favourite tv show and this has also been my motivational song for my exams. Twirl twirl twirl twirl. I know it's silly but it's damn catchy!

Bioderma Exfoliating Purifying Gel

Hello my name is Marilou and I am an exfoliator addict.

I just can't resist! Every single time I see an exfoliator, I just go "ooooh" or "mmmmmh" when reading the notice at the back of the packaging. For instance : Bioderma Exfoliator purifying gel removes impurities and cleanses / Smoothes the skin texture and refines the pores ("mmmmh") They always seem like a life changing product that will make all my skin imperfections and issues go away. My latest skin care buy is therefore, an other exfoliator. As I really enjoy using my Bioderma Eau Micellaire, I decided to take the plunge and try an other Bioderma product! YES! YES Bioderma has a wider range of products than the famous Crealine! I bought this in France as is it always cheaper than here in expensive Belgium (it was about 10€).

Et oui, je ne peux jamais résister, dès que je vois le moindre produit gommant je m'extasie tout en lisant le fameux descriptif au dos du produit. Par exemple pour mon nouveau gommage Bioderma j'étais toute émoustillée quand j'ai lu "désincruste et nettoie" ou encore "lisse le grain de peau". MMMMH. Les gommages me donnent toujours cette impression qu'ils vont changer ma vie et faire disparaître toutes mes affreuses imperfections. J'en reviens donc à mon nouveau gommage Sébium de Bioderma.Comme j'adore mon eau micellaire de la même marque je me suis lancée lors de mon petit city day trip à Lille pour tester un autre produit de la gamme. Et ouais, parce que Bioderma fait bien autre chose à part les fameuses eaux micellaires qui inondent les blogs du monde entier. 

I have been using this product for a solid two weeks now so I think it's the perfect moment for a review.

This exfoliator is super liquid, that's one thing I didn't really like about it. It is said to be a purifying GEL but I didn't find it had that gel texture, which is really missing here! It slips through your fingers so easily. It doesn't have a particular smell as it is a pharmaceutical product that is non-comedogenic. 

On the exfoliating side, it makes my skin sooooo soft and I feel like it has really been smoothing my skin texture as promised on the packaging. The down side of this is that I love it so much that I have been using it a LOT more than recommended and now my skin is so so so so dry. I'm going to use it as recommended, ONCE a week.

Cela fait maintenant un bon deux semaines que j'utilise ce gommage Bioderma. Alors tout d'abord, je trouve que ce produit est extrêmement liquide, genre super super über liquide. N'oublions pas ce produit est sensé être un GEL gommant. Et ben pour le coup c'est loupé, la texture n'est en rien similaire à un gel. Le produit tombe de partout, c'est pas top pour l'application.

Niveau "gommage" maintenant, il rend vraiment ma peau super douce et propre en PROFONDEUR. Mmmmh! Love it. Le seul petit bémol est que vu que j'adore ce produit je n'ai pas arrêté de l'utiliser ces deux dernières semaines et maintenant j'ai la peau super sèche, genre méga inconfortable. Je vais donc continuer de l'utiliser comme indiqué, UNE fois par semaine. 

I think I will repurchase this product, it is efficient, cheap and makes my skin as soft as a baby bum! 

A winning combo for the purifying gel from Bioderma. To use with moderation though if you don't want to end up like an old dried up lady

Je pense vraiment racheter ce produit. Je le trouve efficace, bon marché et il rend ma peau douce comme des fesses de bébé! Un trio gagnant donc pour le gel purifiant de Bioderma, à utiliser ceci dit avec modération au risque de virer vieille peau asséchée par la vie.
