Wishlist #12

Wishlist
Bourjois Rice Java powder ⎪ The Balm Cabana Boy blush ⎪ Mac Rebel lipstick ⎪ E.l.f Stippling brush
YSL Youth Liberator foundation ⎪ Dior BB Cream ⎪ L'oréal Base Magique ⎪ NailsInc Baker Street

Since I have finished quite a few products this summer (a round of applause please) mainly foundations, primers and lipsticks I think I deserve to create a make up wish list with some of the things I might purchase in a near future. First of all, I need to restock on foundation as I have finished 5 this summer and I feel so empty now. I will be buying the Bourjois Happy Light foundation as I used it all summer long and absolutely loved it. I also have my eyes on the YSL Youth Liberator foundation and the Dior BB cream.

Next is the Bourjois Java Rice powder, I have heard soooo many amazing reviews about this that I just have to get it and see what the hype is all about. I also need to get my hands on the blush Cabana Boy from The Balm now that it's available in Belgium. Next thing is the Mac Rebel lipstick as I'm on the hunt for a very dark plum color for fall/winter, I think this may be the one. I also have had my eyes on the e.l.f stippling brush for so long but have been to lazy to order it so I might take the plunge and finally get this little baby.

The new L'oréal Base Magique is also on my wishlist knowing that I have a thing for any smoothing primer. And finally the oh-so famous Baker Sreet from NailsInc is the only nail polish I plan on getting so far.

What's on your beauty wish list?

Bourjois ⎥ Happy Light serum & foundation

Bourjois Happy light serum 13,95€ / foundation 14,95€ (*) Available at DI drugstore

I'm really excited to introduce you to my new favourite light-weighted make up products. I have received these new Bourjois serum and foundation from the Happy Light range almost one month ago and oh boy, I have use these every-single-day to the extend that they're almost finished already!

They're two serums available out there: the Luminous Serum Primer (the one I got) which is perfect for dry skin that lack moisture and the Matte Serum Primer (blue one) which is for more oily skin that do not need some extra 'luminosity'. I've been applying religiously the Luminous Serum Primer after my daily moisturizer for that extra moisture and extra glow. It gives such a smooth finish and makes my skin feel so soft and look really...well luminous! I wouldn't say that's it a must have but it's definitely nice to have as a side serum addition to your morning make-up routine.

The Bourjois Happy Light foundation is said to be light-weighted with once again a glowy and very natural finish (that yet covers flaws). I have some major expressions wrinkles and let me tell you that it makes me feel very self-conscious that some foundation are really making them even more wrinkly. The Happy Light didn't left with that impression at all. It is pretty similar to a BB cream in my opinion in the texture, the glowy finish, the flawless looking skin ... It stays on all day long although it does loses a bit of its 'luminosity' by the end of the day, I just use my Make Up For Ever fix + to freshen it up in a sec! Once again, Bourjois really has released what I think will be a huge hit. This range is really impressive, so far so good. I really want to try the Happy Light concealer as well as you never know, it might become my new numero uno!

Have you tried these?

Have a fabulous mid-week!

Bourjois⎥ Blush Exclusif

Bourjois Blush Exclusif (10,99€)

Working close by drugstores is always a huge temptation. I was browsing make-up a few days ago before work and I spotted the new Bourjois Exclusif blush. I just couldn't resist. The colour is a gorgeous light pink with a cream texture and satin finish. It's the kind of product that you applied and the colour changes depending on your skin tone. On my skin tone it stays pretty much the same and I absolutely love the result. I can feel this is going to be my new favourite blusher. I wore it today all day long and it stayed in place, I'm impressed! I love that the finish isn't too glowy as the colour is already pretty bright the dewy finish would have been a bit too much! I'm curious to see if the colour really changes depending on the skin tone. I wonder if it's still gonna look that 'light' on a much darker skin tone or if it's going to transform into a more fuchsia tint. It's still a gorgeous shade anyway, on me at least :)

What do we think ladies?

Favourite blushes ⎜Summer edition

Benefit Sugarbomb ⎜ Physician's formula Happy Booster ⎜ Bourjois cream blush 02

Benefit Sugarbomb : I got this blush a while ago I kind of forgot about it. It has 4 different colors and it actually the perfect summery color. It blends so easily, has a bit of shimmer in it and is so easy to wear on a daily basis. It goes with every kind of makeup as you can mix it up or just use two colours of the four.

Physician's Formula Happy Booster : I bought this on Ebay a few month ago and I was quite disappointed after a few applications. I just thought the colour wasn't popping enough on my cheeks. Since a month I have fell in love with it all over again. The colour is quite discreet but it does add that shimmery bronzing finish and the little heart adds that pop of color needed. You can use this all over your face but I like to keep it on my cheeks only as it's quite shimmery enough.

Bourjois Cream Blush 02 : I received this back in June and since then, I haven't stop using it. It has become one of my favourite blush just because I am in love with the texture. It is the easiest cream blush I have used before. It blends so easily onto the skin and leaves a glowy non-dewy finish. It's so easy to apply that you don't require a brush to apply it although I like to use my RT buffing brush. Peaches blush are not usually my favorites but this colour suits me quite well. I definitely have my eyes on the pink colour from the same collection (I think it's the 04).

------------------------------------
