Leopard is a neutral!

Hi Ladies,

There’s just something about a leopard dress that I can’t resist. Maybe it’s the inner wannabe Jersey girl in me, but I truly never get tired of it. Watching The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Jerseylicious in my 20s definitely had an impact on my fashion perspective. Somewhere along the way, leopard became a neutral in my mind—and honestly, I stand by it.

It’s fun, a little bold, and somehow still goes with everything. The perfect print, if you ask me. And I feel so blessed that I get to go to church in such a beautiful setting. Truly having pinch-me moments every Sunday

Le souvenir de ce jour...

Hi Ladies,
I had such a wonderful little photoshoot session yesterday with my babies at the beach. Sunset was pretty and breeze was perfect. I realize I do not have as many pictures of me and them together so I decided to start organizing some more impromptu photoshoot sessions and capture those moments.

The title of the blog is my favourite song by Jenifer (French people will know the reference) it talks about how the memory of this day means more than anything, Awww!!

Bringing back wearing heels casually

Hi ladies,

Something really ignited in me with the passing of Dolly Parton. I honestly feel so much joy watching her old videos, seeing her completely glammed up, every outfit, every glamorous hairstyle, and every pair of heels. It all inspires me so much. It made me realize that as women, we are here to inspire others simply by being fully ourselves, whatever that looks like for each of us.

I have always wanted to get ultra dolled up and wear heels even for a casual outing, but I would often hold myself back because I felt like I would be out of place or stand out too much. First world problems, I know lol!

So I have decided to embrace that part of myself instead of holding it back. YES, I love the sparkle. YES, I love the glam. YES, I love dressing up to go get coffee . I love the heels. I want to wear whatever makes me feel happy, beautiful, and confident, even if I am a little more dressed up than everyone else.  When I used to live in London, I absolutely adored that part of the city - no one looks at you, you get to wear whatever you want. Here in Mexico, people are a bit more traditional and fit in the box a bit more so you do get some looks here and there but nothing too crazy.

This one of for you Dolly!! Just a casual Sunday OOTD with my doggie Lulu.

To Be A Diamond in A Rhinestone World

Hi ladies,

In honor of Dolly Parton, I wanted to share some of my favorite looks, especially from the 70s and 80s. She is such an inspiration to me when it comes to hair, makeup, and glamour. Even well into her eighty years of age, she continued to show up in full glam, with her big hair, heels, makeup, and beautiful clothes.

When I was little, I always had this idea that a woman after her 40s just ends up with short hair and starts looking frumpy. I never wanted that for myself. That thought alone gives me shivers down my spine.

I hope I get to stay as glamorous, feminine and over the top like Dolly for as long as God allows me to be here. I want to grow older without ever feeling like I have to stop taking care of myself, dressing up, doing my hair and makeup, or enjoying being a woman.

Dolly is such a beautiful reminder that getting older does not mean becoming invisible or losing your sense of glamour. I hope I carry that same spirit with me throughout every stage of my life.

A little tan, a little fashion

Hi ladies,

The other night I ended up going out for a beautiful night out, but it turns out my little tanning session that afternoon was way more productive than I expected and my tan lines were showing soooo strong.

I already had my dress picked out in my mind and just couldn’t find anything else to cover them up, so my décolleté was looking pretty white and red.

I don’t know how I feel about tan lines showing when it comes to fashion. I kind of like it though. I’m a sun person, I don’t hide away from it.

Here’s the result with my dress. Regardless of my tanning mishap, the restaurant was so beautiful and romantic, my dress honestly was the best choice for that specific place. I felt like a princess the entire evening.

Back to the basics

Hi ladies, bringing it back to basics with a black and white OOTD — my favourite.

Lately I’ve been loving looking back at older pictures of Jessica Simpson’s style after her show with Nick, especially her daytime looks with flared pants, oversized sunnies and simple accessories. I wanted to recreate that effortless early-2000s feel and add my own touch.

Happy Sunday xo
