Wishlist ⎟Craving staple

Fall wish list

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great week. Mine has flown by so quickly, I can't even get how sunday is about to be over soon. The weather has been rather poorly so I couldn't take any proper blog picture. Today I went to the movies to see The Little Prince and oh boy, It was so good! I cried, laughed and was absorbed by the story throughout the two hours! I read the book when I was younger and the movie definitely do it justice. Such a strong, beautiful story.

Now, I'm just here watching TV with a glass of wine while online shopping. Currently, I'm craving staple items. I feel like my wardrobe lacks some good staples for fall. My first staple items craving are dresses. I lack some serious dress game. I just have ordered this white victoriana dress - after seeing it on Laura - I just knew I HAD to have it too. It's a bit on the gaudi side but if you tone it down with a little leather jacket, it is really gorgeous. The other dress I really have my eyes on, is this gorgeous midi black & lace piece. How stunning?

Boots wise, I'm craving more and more black booties. I already got one pair from Zara last month, and now I feel like these would fit right in in my wardrobe. Black, classic and with a little edge- the silver buckle or the croc print.

Other items I really need to stock up on are stripped and white t-shirts - because that's all I seem to wear these days -  a black pair of jeans - this one is perfect because it has the girlfriend cut which gives it a more laid-back feeling -and I absolutely need a khaki hat for this fall. Then, in the makeup department I think I'm all set : I just need some more nude lip colors which is what I wear every single day. I have tried the red lips look, but I always come back to my nudes!

Last on the list, is my dream bag. This is the staple of all staples : Chanel double flap bag, caviar leather, medium size with silver hardware - haha I know exactly the one I want. I have started to save money to buy it before my 30th birthday (I have some time ahead). It's my new life goal basically, haha!

Wish list ⎜ Christmas

Christmas wish list

Hi girls! Happy sunday. I'm really tired from a long week of working and learning how to drive. I'm already mid way through my driving  cursus so by the 11th of December I should be able to drive by myself and this is a rather scary thought haha!

Here's my Christmas wish list. I had to add a little bit of Chanel, a little bit of makeup and a little bit of tech. I don't have any particular need this year except maybe a new phone as mine is getting quite slow. Also, I know that the Lorac Pro palette is not new but I never purchased it back it the days and I suddenly feel the need to have it as I'm getting a little tired of my Naked palettes!

I'm off to practice my driving skills and then I'll be cooking all afternoon long. This how I roll on sundays! Have a nice day :)

Coco Mademoiselle has my heart

Coco Mademoiselle is finally mine. I have to say it was love at first smell! Since I had a sniff of this little gem I just knew this had to be my next perfume. I received this (and other gifts, I've been super spoiled haha) for my 25th birthday and I have been obsessed with it since I got it. When I opened it and saw that it was a 200ml bottle I was so shocked (yet so happy, you can imagine), I hope I will managed to last this bottle for a whole year as I usually finish my perfume in 6 months! It is such a chic and sophisticated smell. The packaging is so lush too and the perfume lasts for hours and hours. No wonder why this is the best selling perfume from Chanel! I remember trying this when I was 'younger' and I thought that the smell was a bit too 'mature' for me at the time but now that I've turned 25th I think I'm ready to enter the 'more mature' perfume category, right? haha.

Birthday wish list ⎥ part 3

Birthday wish list part 3

1. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle // 2. Zara Messenger Bag with zips (here)  // 3. Zara coat with leatler sleeves (here)
Lauren Conrad beauty book (here) // Chanel Volume mascara

And finally, the part 3 of my very long birthday wish list is HERE!Can you believe I don't already have the Lauren Conrad Beauty book? I certainly can't!! I have already got myself the Zara bag and coat for my birthday as a little treat from myself to myself as they were only few sizes left and I knew that with my luck they would be out of stock by next week so...

The Chanel Volume mascara has been on my mind for a while as my friend uses it and it makes her lashes look so incredible, I'm drooling over her lashes every time I see her anyway! And finally the Coco Mademoiselle perfume by Chanel is also on my long birthday wish-list as it's the girliest smell out there and it has something so elegant about it as well :)

Birthday wish list ⎥part 1

Birthday wish list

1. Mac Girl About Town // 2. Phillip Lim 3.1 bag (here) // 3. Chanel Rose Exubérant // 4. Zara boots (here)
 5. Massimo Dutti gold watch (here) // Black converse (here)

Yes, yesssss my birthday is coming up next month. That's it... it's finally my turn to turn 25. 1/4 of a century, I feel like a dinosaur just by saying that but I'll survive. Twenty five is a rather 'important' birthday. You think, okay what have I accomplish so far? Am I on the right path to where I want to be? Where do I want to be exactly? What do I see myself doing for the next five years before turning the big 3.0? So many questions, so little answers for now! So instead I think I'll start by eating cake, wearing a lovely dress, have a nice glass of champagne and getting presents! My birthday wish list is not really super exciting. Although I know I won't receive all of them I just might buy them for myself anyway so that's fine. The thing I know I won't get is the Phillip Lim 3.1 bag = my dream bag (after the Chanel Jumbo 2.1 of course!). I will definitely buy it for myself before turning 26 as I just know this is the black bag I NEED. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion as I know it will lasts forever and will look so good on my arm!

Realistically, the Mac Girl About Town and Chanel Rose Exuberant are two products I really want to get knowing that I'm having a big obsession with anything pink at the moment, I know these two will fulfill my pink desire. Those Zara boots will definitely be in my wardrobe for this winter, they're so rock/glam and look so comfy too. I really want some black converse to look rock/comfy this fall (can't believe I don't have a pair of these already). And finally the Massimo Dutti gold watch has been on my imaginary wish list for a while. I really want a gold watch but I'm so over the Michael Kors trend, I want a different brand with the same gold, chunky look.

Favourite nude nail polishes ♥

China Glaze Something Sweet ⎪Bourjois ⎪ Essie  Fiji ⎪ Chanel Magnolia Rose ⎪ OPI Panda-monium pink

There is nothing like a neutral nail polish when you have no idea what to wear or you outfit is already very colourful. Nudes are my go-to choice especially for a day at work I feel like a chip is less obvious than with a darker/brighter colour so I don't have to be self-conscious all day about my nail polish (gripping life eh). I used to think nude nail polishes were so boring and very 'grown up' but now they're very much up my alley (maybe because I grew up too?). That remind me I'l be freaking 25 in about a MONTH. Sweet lord. I have a deep anxiety about it, don't really know why but I still feel 20 at heart. I don't know where time went. I'm secretly plotting on all the gifts I want for this very special birthday. I want it to be low key but I want to receive some extravagant gifts.

Let's go back to the nude nail polishes (it's so easy to get scattered when I talk about gifts ya know). My 'top give' is the perfect mix between lavender-nude, pink-nude, white-nude, softer-pink nude. That's what's really great about wearing nude is that it doesn't have to be that sheer boring color you use for french manicure. NO. Go opaque (or go home right?) when it comes to nude is the only way for me although I still get some 'tipex' remarks about white-nude nails from time to time. It's trendy, ok get over it :-)

What are you favourite nude nail polishes?

My top 10 nail polishes ⎟Spring

I know, I KNOW. Spring isn't officially here yet but I just can't help myself when I feel that lovely sunshine warming me on my way to uni. Speaking of uni, I have two days left before ending school for good, and when I say for good I mean for-ever! Yes, that's right, my studies have come to a term, I only have my internship left and if everything goes as planned I should officially be a PR practitioner in June! That being said, let's dive into the main subject of this post : spring! When I think about spring I think about birds waking me up in the morning with a ray of sun passing through my window, trees burgeoning and also pastel nail polishes. It's the perfect season. This week the temperature went up to 16 degrees which felt absolutely amazing. Here's a little selection of my favourite nail polishes for Spring. Most of them aren't new and I wore them non stop last year. I really want to try some new spring colours but I find the collections a bit boring and déjà-vu this year!

NOTD : Chanel - Rouge Noir

Rouge Noir is one of the first nailpolish I've ever bought and I have bought maybe 3 bottles during the past few years.. I haven't worn this colour for maybe a year though because I've been through a wacky colour phase and I was sooo bored with wine colours.
My philosophy is that I will have plenty of time to wear this kind of colours when I will be older so I tend to go very wacky and enjoying my nails's youth nowadays..
I'm surprise to see how my love for this colour haven't change and I do love a good old wine colour on my nails from time to time... but I'll surely be back to something a little bit more exciting tomorrow.
This colour is without the shadow of a doubt timeless.  It's edgy but yet classy and simple.

What is your timeless colour? The colour that you will never get tired of ?
