Favourite nude nail polishes ♥

China Glaze Something Sweet ⎪Bourjois ⎪ Essie  Fiji ⎪ Chanel Magnolia Rose ⎪ OPI Panda-monium pink

There is nothing like a neutral nail polish when you have no idea what to wear or you outfit is already very colourful. Nudes are my go-to choice especially for a day at work I feel like a chip is less obvious than with a darker/brighter colour so I don't have to be self-conscious all day about my nail polish (gripping life eh). I used to think nude nail polishes were so boring and very 'grown up' but now they're very much up my alley (maybe because I grew up too?). That remind me I'l be freaking 25 in about a MONTH. Sweet lord. I have a deep anxiety about it, don't really know why but I still feel 20 at heart. I don't know where time went. I'm secretly plotting on all the gifts I want for this very special birthday. I want it to be low key but I want to receive some extravagant gifts.

Let's go back to the nude nail polishes (it's so easy to get scattered when I talk about gifts ya know). My 'top give' is the perfect mix between lavender-nude, pink-nude, white-nude, softer-pink nude. That's what's really great about wearing nude is that it doesn't have to be that sheer boring color you use for french manicure. NO. Go opaque (or go home right?) when it comes to nude is the only way for me although I still get some 'tipex' remarks about white-nude nails from time to time. It's trendy, ok get over it :-)

My top 10 nail polishes ⎟Spring

I know, I KNOW. Spring isn't officially here yet but I just can't help myself when I feel that lovely sunshine warming me on my way to uni. Speaking of uni, I have two days left before ending school for good, and when I say for good I mean for-ever! Yes, that's right, my studies have come to a term, I only have my internship left and if everything goes as planned I should officially be a PR practitioner in June! That being said, let's dive into the main subject of this post : spring! When I think about spring I think about birds waking me up in the morning with a ray of sun passing through my window, trees burgeoning and also pastel nail polishes. It's the perfect season. This week the temperature went up to 16 degrees which felt absolutely amazing. Here's a little selection of my favourite nail polishes for Spring. Most of them aren't new and I wore them non stop last year. I really want to try some new spring colours but I find the collections a bit boring and déjà-vu this year!

Lauren Conrad Style book

I finally got my hands of the Lauren Conrad style book. I bought it in Waterstone's brussels (My favourite and only english book store in brussels ). It was 18 euros .

I'm so thrilled, I was waiting for the book to be release for such a long time.
I'm obsess (in a good way) with Lauren Conrad since The Hills a
nd I think she had made her way through her career as a writer and as a fashion designer.

The cover is very simple , but sometimes less is more!
She looks stunningly beautiful as always.

♥

The book is not revolutionnary as I like to hope that everyone knows that a t shirt is a key piece to your wardrobe but the book gives some good tips and have some gorgeous pictures of her.

It has a lot of inside jokes and its write with a lot of Very laurenconradesque humour .

The make up part was my favourite part. That really makes the book complete and worths buying it because I love Lauren Conrad's make up artist Amy Nadine and she gives you all her tips there .

I went "yay" when I saw the page dedicated to nailpolish described as the unexpected accesory. So true! Nailpolish is more than just make up, it's an accesory and it's so easy to spice up your outfit with a good choice of nailpolish colour

Have a great end of the week :-)

NOTD : Parlez-vous OPI?

My nail polish of the day is once again inspired by LC.
I was looking at some pictures of her and her nailpolish caught my attention.
It's not the first time I see this colour on her so I made some research...

*ZOOM IN*

How pretty? I love this kind of colour! It's very chic and outstanding at the same time.

I choose Parlez vous OPI by ..well OPI as a dupe.

It's a creamy dusty mauve with a hint of grey !
The application is DREA-MY and I always get so many compliments when wearing it :)

Of course, as this is a LC inspiration NOTD, it has to be worn on short nails :)

Have a great weekend everyone ,

Hi lovelies,

I'll try to have a poll every monday as I would love to hear more of your feedbacks and polls tend to reach a wider audience, so feel free to participate :)

Today's poll is : Does dark nail polish look better on short or on long nails?
